HOW DOES IT WORK?

1. A very fast pulse of laser light is produced and emitted from the unit.

2. The transmitter, receiver and monocular are accurately aligned.

3. The flight time is precisely measured as the laser reflects off the target and back into the receiver.

4. The range to the target is displayed to the user in the LCD.

DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

Advanced digital technology and a high-speed clock are used to instantaneously calculate distances by measuring the time it takes for each pulse to travel from the rangefinder and back. Digital technology allows the device to be compact without sacrificing ranging performance and accuracy, and automatically provides distance through rain and enhances distance to reflective objects.

Activates the display and laser.

Ranging Performance

Ranging performance refers to the instrument's ability to measure distance accurately. Many variables contribute to ranging performance: weather, lighting, target size, target reflectivity, target surface (a flat, smooth sign is much easier to range than an animal), the angle at which the laser hits the target (the closer you hit at a 90 degree angle, the further you can range) and hand steadiness.

TARGETING MODES

- Scan

The scan mode allows you to pan across the landscape while viewing a continuously updated LCD display of the distance between you and the targets you scan with the viewfinder.

- Rain

The feature compensates for precipitation to guarantee an accurate distance measurement through snow or rain.

- Zip

Zip allows you to accurately measure longer ranges (beyond 150 yards) when looking through foreground clutter like brush or branches.

- Reflector

This feature increases the maximum measurement range for most highly reflective objects.

- Bow

Provides true horizontal distance from 5 to 99 yards based on angle.

- Rifle

Select the ballistic group of your firearm (guidelines supplied). When you range your target, an inclinometer displays the angle and provides bullet-drop/holdover in inches (up to 199") from 100 to 800 yards.

- Bulls-Eye

Geared for close-range use, this mode acquires the distances of small targets and game without inadvertently measuring back ground target distances. When more than one object is acquired, the closer of the two objects is shown on the LCD display.

- Brush

Ignores the foreground, such as brush, boulders and tree branches, and provides distances on the LCD display to background objects only.

- Pinseeker

Like Bulls-Eye mode, Pinseeker isolates your target flag - shutting out background objects. When more than one object is sensed the closer of the two is displayed.
