Packed with so many features, it's a wonder you can
see through 'em.
Tasco offer a comprehensive range
of rifle and pistol scopes to suit any hunting or target shooting needs. The
last few years have seen some impressive innovations and improvements in the
line, which have reaffirmed Tasco’s position as the world’s largest
distributor of optical products for sports, recreation, and professional
activities.

Varmint / Target
Long-range accuracy is a
critical factor when considering a scope for either varmint or target
shooting applications. And for this reason, Tasco® Target and Varmint
riflescopes are designed to offer dedicated target and varmint shooters
precise performance advantages. First and foremost, they all share
high-quality, multi-coated optics for crystal-clear, high-resolution images.
Large
objective
lenses deliver impressive brightness. And the 1/4 or 1/8 minute click
windage and elevation adjustments make fine-tuning accuracy not only
possible but simple. The rugged
waterproof, fogproof and
shockproof construction ensures that all Tasco Target and Varmint scopes are
engineered to meet the exacting demands of the most accurate shooters.

Long a favourite among sports
enthusiasts, World Class™ Riflescopes are built to withstand the rigors of
the outdoors. SuperCon™ multi-layered coating on the objective and oculars
lenses and fully coated optics throughout increase light transmission as
well as reduce reflection for the brightest, clearest image
possible.
Undoubtedly New
Zealand's biggest selling mid-price range of riflescopes,
the World Class range also features 1" Advanced Monotube construction, 1/4
MOA adjustments, and 30/30 reticles.

ProPoint™ Red Dot Sights have
been the choice for competitive shooters, turkey hunters and slug gun
enthusiasts for years.
Built to last, the ProPoint™ lends confidence and composure when it's
needed the most. Featuring a solid construction,
flawless tracking and a
rheostat controlled illuminated red dot, these sights live up to every
expectation shot after shot. Accessories include rings to fit standard 5/8"
bases, extension tubes, glare filter and one lithium battery.
Now also available in a model
that features both red & green dots - both with variable brightness. A green
dot is less intrusive in low-light conditions, whereas the red dot stands
out more when shooting during bright sunlight.

100% waterproof, fogproof and
shockproof, Pronghorn® riflescopes are engineered to stand up to both magnum
recoil and the harsh terrain of high-country wilderness. The premium,
multi-coated, SuperCon optics deliver impressive detail. And the
finger-adjustable windage and
elevation
controls make sighting-in simple.

Rimfire
For recreational target shooting
or small game hunting, Tasco's Rimfire
scopes are a great value. Great for
use on small-bore rifles, they feature
lenses calibrated for rimfire ranges and coated optics for a bright image.
Fits 3/8" receivers.

From the price-point Pronghorn
& Golden Antler ranges, to New Zealand’s most
popular mid-price riflescope – the World Class range, and right up to the
exceptional Titan range, Tasco have it all covered. With fixed power and vari-power options, models with valuable parallax correction, target scopes,
and a wealth of other features available, you just can’t miss.
Cap it all off with some of
the worlds finest shooting accessories. We make it easy to mount and
sight-in your new Tasco riflescope with genuine Tasco rings and a
professional-grade boresighter.

COATED OPTICS
Lens surface coatings reduce light loss and glare due to reflection for a
brighter, higher-contrast image with less eyestrain.
MAGNIFICATION (POWER)
Riflescopes are often referred to
by two numbers separated by an "x". For example: 4x40. The first number is
the power or magnification of the scope. With a "4x", the object being
viewed appears to be four times closer than when seen with the unaided eye.
OBJECTIVE LENS SIZE

The second number in the formula
(4x40) is the diameter of the objective or front lens. The larger the
objective lens, the more light that enters the scope, and the brighter the
image.
PARALLAX
A condition that occurs when the
image of the target is not focused precisely on the reticle plane. Parallax
is visible as an apparent movement between the reticle and the target when
the shooter moves his head or, in extreme cases, as an out-of-focus image.
Most Tasco center-fire riflescopes under 11x are factory-set parallax-free at
100 yards; rim-fire and shotgun scopes at 50 yards. Scopes of 11x or more
have a special range focus to adjust for parallax.
