Victorinox products draw upon
over a century of tradition and experience. The story began in 1884 when
Karl and Victoria Elsener founded the company. In 1897 the “Officer Knife”,
which later became known as the Swiss Army Knife”, was patented.
Never a company to rest on their laurels, constant innovation has always
been a key part of their success. Victorinox tools have been used on countless expeditions, NASA space
shuttle flights, and in everyday practical use around the world. The range
of products available from Victorinox today is nothing short of enormous.
